Ashleigh is a licensed pharmacist at our Florida Specialty Pharmacy. A Jacksonville native, Ashleigh received her Associates Degree from Florida State University before receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy from South University in Savannah, GA.

When Ashleigh was in high school, her father was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. It was then that she realized how quickly things can change and how challenging treatment can be on a patient and their caregivers. “My mom relied heavily on the pharmacists to prepare her for potential side effects and how to manage them,” she says. “Seeing the comfort she got from knowing what to expect and how to address it was the biggest reason I chose to pursue a career in pharmacy.”

“That level of comfort my mom received when my dad was sick is the same level of comfort I try to give each of my patients,” she says.

“Especially since having children, I’ve become more sentimental, so patients would be surprised to know that I think about them a lot! I genuinely share their concerns and put a lot of time and effort into researching their questions and preparing for even a routine call!”

When not at the office, Ashleigh enjoys hosting get-togethers – a hobby that has given her the title of “event planner” amongst her friends and families. In addition, Ashleigh enjoys spending time at the beach or Jags games with her husband and their two sons and furry daughter!
